Pharmacy course presentation
The main objective of the single-cycle course in Pharmacy is to provide the theoretical and practical knowledge suitable for practising as a pharmacist or working in the health care field as a drug expert.
By starting to study Pharmacy, you will acquire all the necessary knowledge and skills, focusing on the human side, which is indispensable for establishing a trusting connection with the patient, and the medical side, learning how to respond to the health needs of society. During this course, you will be trained in chemistry, pharmaceutics and pharmacology, biology, and toxicology, not forgetting the legislative and deontological aspects.
You will be able to perform the important role of a health educator, participating in institutional campaigns in cooperation with the public administration to monitor the health situation in a country, and you will be able to intervene in the administration of drugs for therapeutic use, cautiously identifying suitable medicines, advising the patient and supporting them. You will study different subject areas over the years, starting with the physical-mathematical, chemical and biological areas and then moving on to more complex disciplines such as the pharmaceutical, toxicological and chemical-pharmaceutical areas. All this will enable you to enter the world of work with the necessary knowledge properly.
